One of my all-time favorite projects was working with The Nice Plant!

The Nice Plant’s clean, playful aesthetic provided the perfect foundation for a vibrant brand experience. I had the chance to collaborate with local LA influencers for our pop-up shops and digital brand ambassadors to create user-generated content and engaging brand visuals.
At The Nice Plant, we embraced a multi-channel marketing strategy that blended influencer collaborations, innovative content creation, and strategic social media growth. By leveraging trends that flourished during the pandemic—like at-home hobbies and digital connection—we positioned The Nice Plant as a go-to brand for houseplant enthusiasts while driving strong engagement and sales.

Strategy & Execution
- Influencer & Brand Partnerships:
- Developed creative collaboration campaigns, such as partnering with a scrubs company to create custom at-home plant care kits for influencers. These virtual planting sessions encouraged engagement while promoting the joy of houseplants.
- Built and managed a brand ambassador program, aligning with creators who resonated with our mission.
- Seasonal & SEO-Driven Campaigns:
- Launched strategic Valentine’s Day paid content and a blog post, “Valentine’s Day Gifts for Every Possibility,” to boost SEO and drive conversions. The content positioned houseplants as thoughtful, trendy gifts.
- Consistently produced blog content that blended education, aesthetics, and searchability to attract new customers.
- Early Adoption of TikTok & Social Media Growth:
- Recognized TikTok’s potential early on and leveraged an LA-based content creator who worked directly with the founder and fulfillment team, creating a steady stream of engaging content.
- Repurposed this high-volume content for Instagram, Pinterest, and beyond, ensuring an efficient and cohesive marketing strategy.
- Pinterest Automation & Market Presence:
- Implemented a robust Pinterest strategy, continuously uploading and auto-scheduling posts while manually updating for flash sales and key promotions.
- Attended local markets and pop-up events, generating buzz and deepening community ties in the LA plant scene.

The opportunity to work within their brand guidelines while creatively pushing the visuals further was so fulfilling. The brand’s embrace of personality, Black culture, and Womanhood allowed for bold and thoughtful messaging choices, making each project exciting and dynamic.

I especially enjoyed the challenge of enhancing their fun, approachable identity across the brand’s website design, social media content, and more.
Impact
- Built a highly engaged audience across platforms, driving organic reach and sales.
- Established a sustainable content pipeline that allowed for constant, fresh social media updates.
- Strengthened brand positioning through SEO, influencer marketing, and in-person activations.

This role blended strategic foresight with hands-on execution, crafting a dynamic and scalable approach to brand growth. By capitalizing on digital trends and fostering community engagement, The Nice Plant flourished—both online and offline.
